Super Punch. SELTZER with a QUARTER OF A LEMON chopped and muddled up in there. Add 2-3ozs VEEV acai spirit, and then about 1oz of Pomegranate juice. AMAZING!

Capri-watchya is the name for this drink, because it’s a dressed up spin on a Caipirnha. You’ll need fresh lime, sugar, cachaca (I used Leblon), seltzer, and VeeV.

You first muddle the lime and the sugar into the bottom of the glass, squeeze out some extra lime juice on top of that. 2oz of Leblon. A couple splashes of Veev. Top it off with some soda water. TADA, your very own Capri-watchya?

My second Passover cocktail is the Charoset. TASTES LIKE REAL CHAROSET!!!

What you need is some hard cider, red wine, amaretto, and cinnamon. You take 2ozs hard cider, 2ozs red wine, 1oz amaretto, add cinnamon. Stir Stir Stir, and you got CHAROSET! You can add apples as garnish.

Sorry I’ve been MIA, work has been a little crazy. I made a couple Passover Themed cocktails last week in honor of my Jew-ee-ness. First is my Maror inspired, Horseradish Lemonade. Basically you take 2ozs Vodka, 1oz Lemonade, and stir in some horseradish to taste. If you want to go the extra mile, instead of stirring in horseradish, grade some fresh horseradish and leave it in the vodka overnight to have horseradish infused vodka!

Apple Pie Shots!

Just like grandma used to make…sort of. I got turned onto these bad boys in Latvia, where they cost as little as 1 lats a pop, which in USD is only 2 bucks! But in the USA where bars charge you like 5-10 bucks for shots it probably costs them 50cents to make, why not make them yourself?

What you’ll need:

1. Vodka (I used Finlandia)

2. Apple Cider

3. Ground Cinnamon

What you do:

Fill your shot glass 60-75% of the way with vodka depending on how strong you want your shot to be. Add a little bit of apple cider. Tip with ground cinnamon. Bottoms up!

Green Life Crystal

So this recipe is loosely based on the cocktail Green Death Crystal, but instead of white rum I used Cachaça. So what you are going to need: Cachaça (I used Leblon), Absinthe (I used Mata Hari), Lemonade, and Ice!

What you do? Put in 1.5oz of Cachaça, 1.5oz of Absinthe, 2oz lemonade, and Ice. Shake or stir. TO LIFE!

The Cherry Limeade Negociante!

Made almost entirely from things you can get at Trader Joes it’s Jalapeno, Tequila, Limeade, and Grenadine.

First you chop up half a Jalapeno, add 2-3oz Tequila. Limeade to taste. Two splashes of Grenadine. Stir. Optional-Add seltzer water for a refreshing fizz. Top off with some crushed ice and ENJOY!

The Perfection Manhattan, made these for the Mad Men season premier, and they were most definitely a hit.

This take on a perfect Manhattan requires the following:

1. Bourbon (I used Makers Mark)

2. Dry Vermouth

3. Sweet Vermouth

4. Absinthe (I used Mata Hari)

5. Blood Orange Bitters

6. Orange Peel

7. Maraschino Cherries

What you do:

I first twist the orange peel along the glass rim so it has a nice aroma the whole time. Add two ounces bourbon. A quarter of an ounce of sweet vermouth and a quarter of an ounce dry vermouth. An ounce of absinthe. Add dashes of blood orange bitters and a dash of maraschino cherry juice. Garnish with the orange peel twist and a maraschino cherry. PERFECTION!

First up Acai’ Mist.

What you’ll need:

1. VeeV Acai Spirit (this is a really refreshing alcohol).

2. A fresh lime

3. Tonic Water

4. Dry Vermouth

What you do:

Pour 2 ounces (I usually do a little more) of VeeV into a tumblr. Add half an ounce of dry vermouth. Squeeze in a lime wedge. Add Tonic water to taste. OPTIONAL: On a really hot day put some ice in there.

Delicious and refreshing!
